Molly Scott
Occupational Therapist
Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) Honours
Postgraduate Diploma (Sensory Integration)
Molly earned her Bachelor of Science with Honors (Occupational Therapy) from Curtin University in 2022. Following her graduation, Molly gained experience at a neurorehabilitation clinic, primarily working with paediatric patients with neurological and developmental conditions. Before her role as an Occupational Therapist, Molly spent over a decade as a disability support worker in paediatric care. Molly is an Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner with the Sensory Integration Network having completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Sensory Integration through Sheffield Hallam University.
Molly‘s career choice was influenced by her mother, who worked as an Occupational Therapist specializing in paediatrics while Molly was growing up. Observing the positive impact of an Occupational Therapist who made therapy enjoyable and engaging for children inspired Molly to pursue the same path. Molly also needed an OT as a child herself. The combination of those experiences led to Molly‘s understanding of the value an OT can have in improving function and engagement for a child and the long term impact beyond therapy sessions.
Outside of work, Molly has two adorable rescue dogs that she loves taking on walks and cuddling on the couch. She’s a big fan of music, board games, and arts and crafts (think drawing, resin, knitting, and card making), and her happy place is the beach. Whenever she can, Molly loves going on holidays where she can snorkel and relax by the water or go on adventures.
